Maybe instead of being worried about CAOD moderating, you should be worried about the fact that every offensive you've dared to start has been crushed completely. Patience indeed.
I seem to recall logging off in 49- last night before the server crashed, so I would say the every offensive comment you made was either being poorly informed or simple trolling. The game we all play is a marathon, not a sprint. This war will last years, which will keep us happy for quite some time, believe it or not. :)
Serj
ok would you say right now you're doing better in the long run or the short run?

i'm not sure what you mean. TRI had a fleet up defending Kengoku's tower in 5v- yesterday

Originally by: Centuri That's what happens when you base your information on PL propaganda posts. Tri were not in 5v yesterday, maybe if you had been there you would have seen that.
Infact you had probably numbers superiority yesterday, us having only over 200 in gang having logged on, you guys had been sieging towers 2-3 hours earlier with nearly them numbers (so I assume they would have gone up alot as that tower was important.) I'm guessing the reason you didn't try anything was that we were setup pretty well in the system with 8? titans, all of which were KenZoku afaik. Is that more impressive than a whole napfest bringing 14 into a jammed system? Yet you see no conga lines or topics about it.
[/quote
I'm pretty sure it was already stated the reason we didn't go for 5v- is because we knew about the planned hot drop by non-kenzuko entitites and you had towers out of reinforced in other systems. So we blew those up while you sat idle. Well not quite idle, you did go lose your whole fleet in zxj- thereafter

Yes! Yes, they are! Now you're getting it!
I got it from the second I saw the BoB alliance chat window go down. What I don't "got" is why you think it was such an achievement for Goonswarm.

Didn;t see this bit. You see it makes sense if you have amnesia and forget we only initially attacked 3 systems in one constellation. BOB resistance collapsed after getting murdered repeatedly, and it was only THEN we thought "Hey this is going well" and THEN started spreading out to other constellations, after you so valiantly failed to defend 3 systems. You fled to PR-... and you "Failed to defend" one single system for a solid month. vOv
Weeks before the reset gs had been dropping sov in their home regions. I'm sure the higher ups knew the reset was coming and decided to go for all or nothing. If you guys didn't plan on taking all of delve from the start then why leave the 4 to 5 regions to whomever wanted them?
Our early plan was to get 1 delve constellation before sov3 got back up, and fight a meatgrinder war from there. We abandoned the southeast because we know we had 0% chance of fighting a 2 front war, and the potential gains of taking Delve outweighed the risk of being homeless. So yea we really didnt want the southeast anyways

Originally by: Snot Shot Since this thread is now 10 pages filled with chest beating and a handful of Ken posts I might as well add some points for discussion:
Ken agreed all along with A & Atlas that securing GS old space should take a front seat, knowing that the clock was ticking and they might not be able to retake Delve in the long run.
For Ken, or anyone, to dislodge GS it will take a gathering of many large Alliances to push into Delve and Querious at the same time for a few months. A consistent presence would be required by all parties involved running multiple ops in different areas whilst backing each other up as they pushed forward. Now this would be ôEpicö and worth writing about in the EVE History books.
NAP lists aside, the situation sits with Ken/GKC at the walls of a large scale defense fortified by GS/PL/RZ/MM/TCF and on and onàà..all of whom donÆt need to be present at this point only but for a few days a week to help push the door closed again for GS and then head home.
GS only needs to know where Ken is, Ken needs to know where all the NAP fleets are so they donÆt get blind sided.
ôOk so before we start this Op we have eyes on the PL fleet with their 5 Titans, eyes on the GS fleet and Titans, the MM Fleet and the TCF Fleetàà.anyone know where Razor or KIA fleets are? No? Welp letÆs give this a go and see who tries to blind side us this timeà.ö
So here we sit with everyone throwing stones at Ken/GKC for being such losers for not being able to stop a left mouse click and then not having enough Allies show up to help defend 3 regions for 3+ months starting at SOV-1, all from the NAP train on their own land grab conquestà..wtf.
As you all know that I can be a little harsh at times, but since no one else is posting the other perspective I though I might go easy. Go ahead and flame away and I will respond as long as CCP allows me to have a voice amongst all this ôwe ruleö chanting..
Just sayinà
Dr. Shot
this post is wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. Allow me to hurf blurf a moment: It is a pretty funny notion that our enemies are dumb enough to decide that spamming towers in undefended space 4 regions away from the front lines is any excuse not to defend delve in its short window of sov1&2. There was NO TIME LIMIT down south. And allied fleets are always consolidated for the big fights and scouting them is not difficult.
The southern russians were more interested in a land grab. Delve fell after only a couple attempts at a defense by kudozu. They gave up, sat down, and let us fortify our new home, because without AAA, SE, ROL etc. goku will not even attmpt to fight

I don't expect any posts from aaa or ken goku today. This is definitely the most embarassing failure of an offensive I have ever seen from any alliance.

I also know that the combined high-ends of all lost regions is somewhere around the 450bn mark. Significantly more than you gained.
The only region in the south with signifigant numbers of highends is esoteria. The rest are awful. Delve+q+pb is leaps and bounds more valuable |
